Keyboard Shortcuts

Every keystroke that moves faster than a click. Grouped by what you are doing.

Command palette — one keystroke, every action

Press ⌘K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows / Linux) from anywhere in the app to open the global command palette. Start typing — the palette searches 54 actions across Create, Navigate, Switch view, Edit selection, Present, Design, Data, and AI. Press Enter to run, Esc to dismiss.

The palette is the single source of truth for every keyboard shortcut in the app — each row shows the shortcut on the right. If it is not in the palette, it does not exist.

Navigation

⌘K / Ctrl+K — Open the command palette.

G — Switch to Grid view (only inside a timeline editor).

L — Legacy alias for Grid; kept through 2026-05-19 then removed.

/ — Focus the toolbar search input.

? — Open this keyboard shortcuts reference (via the palette's Show Keyboard Shortcuts action).

Editing

⌘E / Ctrl+E — Open or close the Style Inspector drawer.

⌘Z / Ctrl+Z — Undo.

⌘⇧Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z — Redo.

Enter on a Grid cell — Edit the cell in place. Tab moves to the next cell.

Double-click on a task bar — Open the task detail panel.

Presentation and sharing

P — Toggle presentation mode (full-screen stakeholder view). Scoped to the timeline editor.

⌘P / Ctrl+P — Open the Print Options dialog (paper size, orientation, include resources).

⌘J / Ctrl+J — Open the ✦ AI palette with 22 in-editor AI actions.

Canvas

Space + drag — Pan the infinite canvas.

Scroll wheel — Zoom in / out toward the cursor.

Ctrl + scroll — Pinch zoom.

C — Switch to the Connect tool.

A — Switch to the AI tool.

G — Toggle the background grid lines.

M — Toggle the minimap.

⌘0 / Ctrl+0 — Zoom to fit.

⌘= / ⌘- — Zoom in / out incrementally.

Mobile

On screens narrower than 768 px the editor auto-redirects to Grid on first load — Gantt is desktop-only. You can still switch to other views manually from the view switcher; the redirect fires only once per session.
